Good Day Truth Seekers! Lately I've been listening to a lot more rap music. I call it rap rather than hip hop because in my eyes that's what it is. Commercial laden urban music that speaks to a demographic which seeks to use little brain power to enjoy it. Sorry if that offended anyone, but it is what it is. So anywhoo, my brother let me burn his Watch The Throne cd and I found myself nodding my head to one track in particular that features Frank Ocean, "No Church in the Wild". I don't know who Bizzle is but much of what he said have been my sentiments on occasion. I think it is so easy to ignore certain things about any form of entertainment and take what you want from it. However, entertainment is art and it's purpose is to affect and effect your both your conscious and subconscious.
