My parents are on their way to Florida for vacation as I type. I was speaking to my mom while she was impatiently waiting for their flight and I realized, "Mom, that idiot that decided to burn the Quran is in Florida," I screamed into the phone. My mother in her infinite coolness responded, "Girl please. That man is in New York doing his rounds on the interview circuit."
Okay...why is this man being interviewed? Sometimes I think America is glutton for punishment. Everything does not have to be shared!! For whatever reason, we feel the need to broadcast every nook and cranny of ignorance we can! Why is that? Today should be a day of celebrating our nation's greatness, not it's embarrassments!
